Non-Invasive Pelvic Floor Treatment
Reimagine your confidence
Experience a revolutionary solution for urinary incontinence and pelvic floor concerns, empowering you to regain control and rediscover confidence. This non-invasive treatment utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver powerful pelvic floor muscle contractions, paving the way for a renewed sense of well-being.
But is this treatment right for you? Let's explore its potential and answer the most common questions!
What is Emsella?
Imagine experiencing thousands of Kegel contractions in just 30 minutes. That's the magic of Emsella! It harnesses the power of High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate deep pelvic floor muscles, strengthening them beyond what's possible with traditional Kegel exercises alone and restoring neuromuscular control. These supramaximal contractions are extremely important in muscle re-education of incontinent patients. Remain fully clothed, relax on the treatment chair, and allow your body to benefit!
Scientific research shows that 95% of treated patients have reported significant improvement in the quality of life.
Who can benefit from Emsella?
If you struggle with:
- Urinary incontinence: Leaking urine during coughing, sneezing, or exercise
- Urgency: Frequent and sudden urges to urinate
- Pelvic floor weakness: Impacting sexual function or overall pelvic health
Emsella could be your answer! It's particularly suitable for:
- Women of all ages, especially after childbirth or menopause
- Men experiencing increased urination or pelvic floor dysfunction leading to ED
What can I expect?
Emsella is a completely non-invasive treatment with no downtime. You remain fully clothed, and although there are some intense contractions and tingling during this treatment, it is a very comfortable procedure to sit through. Some patients do report stiffness or soreness after getting up from their session, but this does not interfere with any activities.
Results
- 95% satisfaction rate
- 81% reported significant improvement of urinary incontinence symptoms
- 75% reduction of pad usage
- 100% of patients studied had improvement in pelvic floor muscle tone shown on ultrasound
- 100% of patients had increased awareness of pelvic floor musculature
- 76% improvement in sexual desire and satisfaction due to increase in tone, blood flow, sensitivity, and lubrication
Treatment
The treatment protocol is six sessions, scheduled twice a week. A lot of patients do begin to observe improvement after just the first session, depending on severity of initial symptoms and how long these problems have persisted. Some patients do have an increase in symptoms the first day due to fatigue of the pelvic floor muscles (like after a long workout). The results do vary from person to person due to the spectrum of symptoms, however 95% of patients studied reported improvement in their quality of life!
The treatment is 28 minutes long, and completing the full treatment series is necessary to maximize the treatment efficacy. You may need additional treatments depending on the severity of your condition. Before you begin therapy, you will take a written survey to determine the severity of your condition. Three months after the treatments, you will be asked to take the survey again to measure your improvement!
Dress comfortably on the days of treatment, during the session you will be seated with your legs shoulder-width apart and your back straight in order to have the pelvis in a neutral position. It is best to not have any metal on the body, so we do ask that you wear comfortable workout attire, or bring light fabric bottoms so the electromagnetic energy is not hindered. Avoid jeans, thick sweats, or leggings that have metallic fibers. Bring a book or a magazine to read during the treatment. Patients who are currently menstruating should not undergo treatment, so try to schedule around your cycle.
